All-Gender Restrooms

In collaboration, the Offices of the Dean of Students and Capital Planning, Design & Construction have successfully converted 11 single gender restrooms into all-gender, accessible restrooms since November, 2016, totaling 27 accessible, single-stall, all-gender restrooms across campus. Preferred / Chosen Name

San Francisco State recognizes and supports the need or preference of staff, faculty, and students to use names other than their legal names to identify themselves. In order to provide our campus with a safe, inclusive, and nondiscriminatory environment, the Office of Human Resources and the Registrar's Office have implemented a self-service option for employees and students to update a "Preferred Name."
